Director’s Blog

That’s it then . Cottingham Little Theatre production of Sandcastles is now over. The set that took so long to build has now been taken down and everything stowed away. It has been quite a journey and has been a joy to be director for this play. We played to packed houses all three nights and the audiences were terrific. Hard work is always rewarded by satisfaction and everyone involved should feel satisfied they did a good job There were several new members appearing in Sandcastles and they all without exception worked so well and got a real buzz out of performing that  I think they have already caught the acting bug (very infectious). The two children Xander and Hollie fitted in really well and played their part with enthusiasm .We are all now looking forward to auditions for Oh what a lovely war taking place on 22nd May in the D&J Hall at 7:30pm.
