The Snow Queen: Update

Snow Queen Icon

Thanks to all of those who came along to auditions for “The Snow Queen” in June. We were delighted that the play has over 20 parts, so that we could include so many of the talented people who read for us, and we’re really looking forward to starting rehearsals in September with our fabulous cast.

As you know, we won’t be twiddling our thumbs until then! The actors are reading and re-reading the play and starting to learn their lines, our costume team are hard at work making over 30 costumes, our props team are starting to round up all the weird and wonderful items needed for this production and our sound and lighting team are trying to work out exatly how they are going to deliver all that we have asked of them. (“OK. It says here that it starts to snow … Rachel!?”)

As well as our three evening performances at 7.30pm on Thursday 30th November, Friday 1st December and Saturday 2nd December, we will also be having a matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday 2 December. We know this is going to be a popular show, so please do make sure you get your tickets early. They will be on sale from Monday 23 October from our usual outlets – Barkers Newsagents in Cottingham, Beverley Tourist Information, or via the CLT ticket line (07955 138061)
