Our next production will be Don’t Dress for Dinner a fast-paced farce by Marc Camoletti.
Bernard plans a weekend at home with his mistress while his wife, Jacqueline, is away. The play spirals into chaos when Jacqueline discovers the affair and cancels her trip away, forcing Bernard to pass off the mistress as his friend Robert’s lover, leading to mistaken identities, a confused chef, and escalating lies.
Key Characters and Plot Points:
•Bernard: Trying to arrange a romantic weekend with hismistress, Suzanne.
•Jacqueline: Bernard’s wife, who unexpectedly stays home andforces a chaotic cover-up.
•Robert: Bernard’s friend, brought in to help but who createsfurther confusion.
•Suzanne: The mistress, frequently confused with the cook.
•Suzette: The cordon bleu cook, mistakenly identified aRobert’s mistress.
We rehearse twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Rehearsals start on Tuesday 8th September and performance
dates are 26, 27 and 28 November.

The action takes place in a French farmhouse. Bernard is hoping to send his wife away for the weekend in the hopes of romancing his mistress. He has hired a cordon bleu cook for the occasion and has invited his best friend as an alibi. Mistaken identities and general confusion ensue. This is an extremely funny play with lots of twists and turns.

Annual Murder Mystery Evening
These will take place on Saturday 6th and Saturday 13th February 2027. Tickets will be available at the November productions and via our ticket line. More details will follow nearer the time. These are always really fun evenings and sell out very quickly.
